Additive for Solefish Food
This technology in an additive to fish food that causes fish to eat more food. Use of this technology in aquaculture shortens the time it takes to deliver fish to market, leads to fish of larger size and may reduce the environmental impact of aquaculture activities.

In aquaculture, one of the main objectives is to achieve fast growth of fish. However, some species, due to characteristics of texture, taste or smell of food or other reasons not known, have difficulties in digesting food in the quantities required for their physiological needs and growth. Fish food manufacturers use various artificial additives to artificially stimulate growth, but these additives are not fully effective, and despite creating minimal environmental impact, create questions about food safety in the minds of consumers, and add significant cost to the price of fish food.

Our technology contains amino acids that are present in their natural prey. It stimulates fish to eat more of the food that will help them grow without artificial stimulants. The additive contains natural amino acids and isomers that fish can detect in their prey. This additive is effective for sole and other carnivorous fish species , invertebrates and aquatic carnivores of cultivation, such as decapod crustaceans or mollusc cephalopods, Studies have shown that the sole in particular has a high olfactory sensitivity to an amino acid released by one of their preferred natural prey. Laboratory tests have shown that the additives were effective in sole fish juveniles.

This technology can also speed the growth and sale of fish for aquariums.
